Who Can Participate :

School, College, University Students and beyond. All science enthusiasts are welcome to experience this mega event of scientific exposition.

The event is categorized as follows:  

  • Group -‘A’ : Class V to Class X
  • Group -‘B’ : Class XI to Class XII
  • Group -‘C’ : College & University Level
  • Group -‘D’ : All Science Enthusiast

Theme :

  • General Science (Code – SOP01)
  • Climate Change & Disaster Management (Code – SOP02)
  • Man-Nature Interrelationship (Code – SOP03)
  • Environment & Sustainable Development (Code – SOP04)
  • Future Technology (Code – SOP05)

Submission Guideline :

  • Online submission starts from: 26th December, 2023 and will end on 31st January, 2023.
  • Primarily Participation in ‘ScienceOpedia’ is free for all.
  • The Participant(s)[Maximum 3] and/or any Group(Maximum 3 Participants) shall have to register for participation in the event through this link only – ‘https//ScienceOpedia/Registration ’.
  • The presentation of the Project/Model should be captured in a video format and should only be emailed to ‘scienceopediaexpo@gmail.com’.
  • Only one submission of the Project/Model is allowed for Participant(s) or Group.
  • The Email containing the presentation video must have the subject line : unique ‘Registration Id’ (You can get your unique registration Id after successfully submit the registration form), Name and Contact Number   
  • Only original piece of work will be accepted.

Technical Criteria for the submitted videos:

  • The presentation should not be less than 7(seven) minutes and should not exceed 12(twelve) minutes.
  • The aspect ratio of the video should be 16:9 (Widescreen) and Frame rate: 25 frames per second
  • Only these format of video will be accepted : .mov, .mpg, .avi, or .mp4 (.mp4 preferred)
  • Frame size : minimum of 720 x 576 pixels (PAL)
  • HD welcomed : minimum = 1280p x 720p; maximum = 1920p x 1080p
  • Video codec : H.264
  • Video bitrate : minimum of 3 Mbps
  • Audio codec : AAC
  • Audio Frequency : 48000 Hz
  • Audio bitrate : minimum of 128 kbps

**Submitted videos with the above mentioned technical criteria shall only be accepted.

Selection & Publication Procedure :

  • All submitted presentations fulfilling the specified above criterion will published in our official website (www.doverthinker.com) and social media platforms (Youtube, Facebook & Twitter X) of ‘D Overthinker’.
  • All the participant(s) of the submitted presentations will be Awarded with E-Certificate.
  • From each Category (Group – ‘A’ to ‘D’) 5(five) best submissions will be selected for public review and voting, out of which top 3(three) will be Awarded.
  • Also from each Theme top 3(three) will be Awarded according to the Judges’ choice.

**The Awarded submissions shall have to deposit a token amount of Rs. 149/- for physical Certification and Trophy (if needed postage/courier charges extra).
